The fairandfunky Fairtrade Conference for Primary Schools – Friday 13th March 2026 – Tolson Museum, Huddersfield.

We love hosting our Fairtrade Conference for Primary Schools and bookings are open for 2026! We welcome primary schools from across the region to The Tolson Museum in Huddersfield to celebrate Fairtrade. A full day of interactive workshops to learn about the importance of Fairtrade and the difference it makes to producer communities. The student conference empowers young people and their teachers with the knowledge that little steps change the world through interactive workshops linking Fairtrade, sustainability and climate action to curriculum subjects.

“A well organised fun and exciting event. It’s a chance for our school councillors to represent our school and spend time with children from other schools. The message of Fairtrade came through clearly and we will take the messages back to share with the whole school.”

Lindley CE Infant School

Hosted at The Tolson Museum in Huddersfield the conference offers opportunities for learning outside the classroom with a range of innovative workshops from leading practitioners. We will travel the world in a day with art, poetry, drama and more.

We invite each school to bring up to 8 students and 2 adult leaders (staff or parents welcome). The cost to your school is £165 but BOOK BEFORE OCTOBER HALF TERM and it will cost just £150.
