Join fairandfunky at Huddersfield Literature Festival for SCRAPtastic Stories – a creative, crafty story session reading ‘Someone Swallowed Stanley’, a brilliant children’s book with a strong environmental message about littering, and making a SCRAPtastic jellyfish from recycled materials.
This drop in session runs from 11am – 1pm; reading of the story at 11:30am and 12:30pm.
Join us at Tolson Museum on Wednesday 15th April for an Easter SCRAPtastic!
We’re delighted to bring our popular family workshop back to the museum and will host workshops throughout the day where children of all ages can create their own art work using recycled materials! We’ll be making Easter rabbit masks and beautiful flower frames.
There are two workshop sessions: between 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm. The cost is £3.50 per person. No need to book – just turn up on the day and bring your friends!
Join us during the Easter holidays for SCRAPtastic workshops at Totties Garden Centre and The Olive Tree Cafe.
Come along on the Thursday to create Easter chick mobiles and on the Friday to create milk bottle planters from a range of recycled materials!
Workshop cost is £3.50 per child, payable on the day. Suitable for children aged 3 – 12 years. Parents are expected to stay with their children as they craft. Whilst the children craft you can enjoy a coffee and a piece of cake and enjoy the fantastic views over the Holme Valley. Great fun for all the family.
“The fairandfunky workshops are great fun and teach children the importance of looking after the environment around them. Each child can take their creation home to put in their own garden.” Sue from Totties!
