The student conference empowers people with the knowledge that little steps change the world as we come together to celebrate Fairtrade. Each delegate takes part in four interactive workshops linking Fairtrade, sustainability and climate action to curriculum subjects. Students and teachers alike will be inspired to take little steps to change the world and carry the messages of Fairtrade out to school communities.
Hosted at The Tolson Museum in Huddersfield the conference offers opportunities for learning outside the classroom with a range of innovative workshops from leading practitioners. We will travel the world in a day with art, poetry, drama and more.
We invite each school to bring up to 8 students and 2 adult leaders (staff or parents welcome). The cost to your school is £165 but BOOK BEFORE OCTOBER HALF TERM to receive a 10% discount.
We take bookings on a first come, first served basis so please email helen@fairandfunky.com for a booking form.
