fairandfunky Fairtrade Conference for Primary Schools – Friday 1st March 2019 – Creative Media and Studio School.

The fairandfunky Fairtrade Conference brings together Primary Schools to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight. The conference will ignite enthusiasm and interest in both pupils and teachers to maintain awareness and understanding of Fairtrade and how it can be taught within busy classrooms.

Interactive workshops involving creative arts, drama, and real life stories will take delegates on a Fairtrade Adventure around the world and discover how to take a break with Fairtrade!

The cost for your school (2 teachers and up to 8 student delegates) to attend conference is £125. Please email sophie@fairandfunky.com for a booking form.

The fairandfunky Fairtrade Conference brings together Secondary Schools from across the North West to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight. The conference will ignite enthusiasm and interest in both pupils and teachers to maintain awareness and understanding of Fairtrade and how it can be taught within busy classrooms.

Interactive workshops involving debate, creative arts, drama, real life stories, and chocolate tasting will take delegates on a Fairtrade Adventure and discover how to take a break with Fairtrade!

The cost for your school (up to 10 student delegates) to attend conference is £145. Please email sophie@fairandfunky.com for a booking form.

The conference will ignite enthusiasm and interest in both pupils and teachers to maintain awareness and understanding of Fairtrade and how it can be taught within busy classrooms.

Interactive workshops involving creative arts, drama, and real life stories will take delegates on a Fairtrade Adventure around the world and discover how to take a break with Fairtrade!

fairandfunky Sustainable Schools Conference for Primary Schools – Friday 7th June 2019 – IMWS Centre, Batley.

The fairandfunky Sustainable Schools Conference brings together Primary Schools from across West Yorkshire to learn about local and global sustainability issues.

This exciting and innovative Sustainable Schools Conference will empower students to develop their understanding of a sense of place and discover the impact of our daily actions. Each student will take part in interactive workshops on local and global sustainability issues: food, citizenship, biodiversity, waste, and recycling. The workshops will engage students in creative arts, drama and science with hands on practical activities from leading workshop practitioners.

Students will learn about the people who grow and produce our food, discover how to be an active citizen, create their own individual recycled art works and learn about local environments. Students will also discover new Fairtrade facts in special lunchtime activities.
