Fairtrade SCRAPtastic are interactive and creative workshops introducing Fairtrade to early years and KS1 or deepening knowledge and understanding with KS2. In each workshop students discover the importance of Fairtrade to farmers around the world and create individual artworks from recycled materials to carry the Fairtrade message out of the classroom. Please click here to see the full range of Fairtrade SCRAPtastic workshops.

‘Time for Tea’ is suitable for KS2, focussing on the journey of tea from tea plantation to tea pot students explore the supply chain of tea through engaging child centred activities. With insightful questioning, thoughtful debate, games and video the workshop empowers students to think about where their food comes from, and the role of the consumer to ensure a sustainable supply chain. Each student also makes their own Fairtrade ‘Time for Tea’ mobile using recycled Fairtrade packaging.
