Connecting with Science and Art the workshops inspire children to look after their local environment and to recycle. The workshops are suitable for both KS1 and KS2, with each child creating an individual piece of art work from recycled materials.
The workshops are designed to inspire and provoke further questioning and investigation by students into social and environmental issues; and take place in or OUTSIDE the classroom!
In both workshops students engage in role play and educational games on simple food chains, take part in an interactive quiz, and create either a juice carton bird feeder or a bottle bug hotel. These can be left in school or taken home!
Both workshops last 90 minutes and cost £150 (plus travel if outside Kirklees).
