fairandfunky family food day!

The fairandfunky family food day on 22nd September is the final fringe event for the Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival. It celebrates local and ethical organisations, each stall offering something different; celebrating individuality and independent businesses.

We are delighted that the market will be FULL of stalls, and all will be entertained by live music from the markets favourite buskers The Moot! Alongside these are three FREE workshops for all the family to enjoy:

Join us, fairandfunky, to upcycle lots of food packaging to make a fairandfunky foodie friend! Feel free to bring some of your empty cereal boxes and yoghurt pots along too: don’t throw it away, make something!

Local business Holme Baked is embarking on a new venture at The Wrinkled Stocking and will be hosting cupcake decorating and offering tea tasting, to showcase their talents and goodies.

And you can start to grow your own with Growing Works from the Holme Valley Gardening Network! Growing Works is horticultural therapy: working with adults, people with long term health conditions, families, children with additional needs and people with a lived experience of mental health problem.
