Book Now

This workshop develops full knowledge and understanding of Fairtrade, focusing on the journey of bananas from farm to fruit bowl. Students learn about life as a banana farmer in Colombia through role-play, activities, debates and video presentations. ‘Go Bananas’ enhances literacy and numeracy skills, and empowers students in thinking about their sense of place in the world.

The Go Bananas workshop introduces the notion of sustainable development and participants develop the sense of social justice and moral responsibility; recognising the role of voluntary, community and pressure groups.
