Feed the Birds

Book Now

Explore the outdoor classroom with a creative ‘Feed the Birds’ workshop connecting Science and Art, inspiring children to look after their local environment. Students engage in role play and educational games on biodiversity, food chains and food webs; participants take part in an interactive quiz, and create a recycled juice carton bird feeder.

The workshop is differentiated to suit either KS1 or KS2 to provide scientific experiences for children to explore the world around them, to raise their own questions and to develop scientific ideas. The workshop will also inspire further questioning and investigation by students into social and environmental issues.

“Our children loved this fun and engaging workshop; it encouraged them to think about their global footprint and reinforced the values we promote in school. Very appropriate to our Science topic, this session added real value to our learning.” Legh Vale Primary School – Teacher Feedback
