Buy online from our Fairtrade products shop

All of our Fairtrade products are fair and funky. They are either recycled products, fairtrade, or organic – sometimes all 3. We work with suppliers who can tell us where the product was made and by whom. We sell a range of gifts as well as homeware, jewellery, soft toys, books and soaps for you to buy online. The range of Fairtrade products in our online shop will grow and change as fairandfunky grows.

Why buy Fairtrade products?

The number of ethical labels is growing, but Fairtrade remains unique. While other schemes aim to ‘protect the environment’ or ‘enable companies to trace their coffee’, Fairtrade’s focus is on helping farmers and workers improve the quality of their lives and take more control over their futures. Fairtrade is the only certification scheme whose purpose is to tackle poverty and empower producers in developing countries. Fairtrade products deliver unique benefits to producers, businesses and consumers.

Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. By requiring companies to pay sustainable prices (which must never fall lower than the market price), Fairtrade addresses the injustices of conventional trade, which traditionally discriminates against the poorest, weakest producers. It enables them to improve their position and have more control over their lives.

At fairandfunky we empower people to take little steps to change the world.
