If you can’t get to one of our Easter SCRAPtastic workshops over the next two weeks….here’s one of our little simple upcycling crafts you can do at home:
First of all collect together a selection of old bits and pieces: old birthday cards, beads, buttons, odds and ends; along with an old video box. One of the best places to find these things is the bottom of toy boxes! (If you don’t have any video boxes you can use a DVD box, or pick one up at a local charity shop).
Cut out your favourite images from the cards and decorate the edges of the box with all your bits and pieces. Make sure you leave a space in the middle for a personal message or a photo.
Inside the box leave little treats; what about homemade biscuits, little Fairtrade chocolates, or a collection of little messages……..The perfect upcycling craft, the perfect homemade gift for Easter, or anytime!
